Sea Glass brings back wonderful childhood memories for me. I grew up near the ocean in northern California and we spent a lot of time at the beach where I would collect all kinds of treasures including pieces of smooth, gem-like sea glass which I would horde like a little pirate. Over the years I’ve lost all the sweet souvenirs I collected as a child, but not my love of the colorful pieces of glass that get washed up on the shore after being massaged into shape by the sand and sea.
Terra Trendz, an online retail store started by five green friends, sells exquisite sea glass jewelry along with some of the hippest and most eco-friendly accessories and handbags.
The Terra Trendz team has been kind enough to extend a special shopping code to my readers for current and future purchases. You’ll receive 15% off your total purchase when you use the code FE15 at checkout. AND! You get Free Shipping for orders over $25.
So go ahead and indulge your green fashion passion this year at Terra Trendz!

They say you can tell everything about a man by looking at his shoes. I say you can tell everything about a woman by looking at her jewelry. What a woman uses to adorn herself, even while in her plainest of clothing tells everything about her relationship with money, society, her self image, and her priorities. Bottled Up Designs makes jewelry for women who value quality, personal expression and innovation.
Made by reclaim artist Laura Bergman, each piece is hand-crafted from vintage glass and porcelain which she lovingly collects from bottle dumps. Long forgotten and past their usefulness, Bergman breathes new life into them, seeing the “diamond in the rough” of an old bottle half buried on the forest floor. She salvages the glass, cleans and cuts it and transforms it into jewelry that is as inspired as it is sustainable. Bergman also researches the origins of the glass and includes with each piece The Story of The Glass, as a reminder that your new jewelry has evolved from something that was just as beautiful long ago.
I’ve seen many recycled glass products, but Bergman’s are truly exquisite. Each time I wear the pink depression glass necklace (pictured above) that I got from Bottled Up Designs, I am complimented by total strangers. It is a stunning piece of jewelry that is elegant, sophisticated, and yet, suitable for daily wear.
If you are looking for something unique–a statement piece that will fulfill your style needs and your personal ethics–check out the gorgeous jewelry at Bottled Up Designs. Here are some of my favorites:
